Report: USCG Investigating Death aboard Chemical Tanker

argent-sunrise.jpgThe body of a man in his 30s was recovered from the vessel on Monday, following a report from a shipping agent on Sunday, November 12.

As informed, the ship was docked at the ConocoPhillips terminal at the time.

Based on the vessel’s latest AIS data, the Panama-flagged chemical tanker, built in 2008, is “stopped” in Stockton.

The ship is listed as part of Singapore-based MOL Chemical Tankers’ fleet.

World Maritime News is yet to receive more information on the incident from the relevant parties.
