pskov-in-sabetta-300x160.jpgAt the request of the charterer, the 172,000 cbm vessel was handed over almost three months earlier than anticipated, as explained by Teekay.

The LNG icebreaker transited the Northern Sea Route after its delivery from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) yard in South Korea at the end of August.

Rudolph Samoylovich joins its sister vessel Eduard Toll as the second of six Arc-7 LNG carriers that Teekay will provide to Russian Yamal LNG project by 2020.

The newbuilding, which has a length of 298 meters and a width of 45.8 meters, can now load cargo from the newly activated Yamal LNG train 2.

Yamal LNG is constructing a 16.5 mmtpa natural gas liquefaction plant utilizing the hydrocarbon resources of the South-Tambeyskoye field on the Yamal peninsula located in the Arctic territory of the Russian Federation.

Yamal LNG is owned and operated by a partnership comprised of Novatek, Total, CNPC and the Silk Road Fund. It aims to tap natural gas reserves totaling more than 4 billion barrels of oil equivalent (BOE).

Product DescriptionOUCO-Garbage-Grabs-Hydraulic-orange-peel-grab.jpg

To ensure a good penetration and good filling, the grabs have high dead weight. The spaces between the shells are relative small to minimise the risk of material loss.

The grab hydraulic cylinders are fitted with replaceable piston rod protections and are hydraulically cushioned. Wide opening ranges guarantee a good penetration and release behavior.

The orange peel grabs are available with rotator or integrated rotation (heavy duty) with sturdy slewing, depending on the type.
The heavy duty version features solid end stops, accurate fittings, reinforced bolts and large bearing surfaces amongst others.
