Chain stopper , also known as chain stopper or anchor chain stopper, refers to a special device for locking or clamping the anchor chain. It is fixed between the anchor machine and the anchor chain tube, separated from the anchor chain wheel, and bears the tensile force of the anchor and the anchor chain when the anchor is closed and anchored, so that it can not be transmitted to the anchor chain wheel. Commonly used are spiral chain, knife chain, tongue type chain, cam chain, chain chain and roller chain.
The chain stopper is the main device used to control the anchor chain. There are two kinds of common chain switch: roller type and spiral type, in which the structure of knife type is simple and the use is more convenient. The chain stopper can be selected according to the chain diameter and the test load of the anchor chain.
